Going Nuts, Maybe?

The other day I did something I thought I would never ever in a million trillion years do.

Some will question my sanity.

Others will wonder what I was smoking (though I've never smoked anything, but pork in the smoker before, and I'm pretty sure that does not count).

Still others will have a giggle, then turn around and have an all out gossip session wondering what the heck is going on at the Carlisle Home at the next spanking bloggers convention (I know that does not really exist, but it would be a cool thing if it did.)

Okay, moving right along....

But I'm about to bare my soul here, so I'll just pretend you all will get your bless her little hearts out, have a quick gossip session at my expense and move on.

So, two mornings ago, I went nuts.

At least, I think I did.  I'm not a 100 percent sure what going nuts looks like, but I'm pretty sure I did.

Right before I was to be paddled, I said something I never thought I'd say.
I know what you're thinking.  I sassed off, right?

Nope!  Been there, done that!  Got the t-shirt.

Got rude?

Geez, you folks give me absolutely no credit whatsoever!

What kind of people are you out there anyway?

I see you smirking!

I can be good.  I really can.  I just am rarely good for the whole cotton picking day.   (I hate saying that out loud, humph!)

But that is not the point of this blog post.

Wait!  Where was I going with that?

Okay, I'm good.  I remember now.....

The point is I asked Hoss to do something that I can in all good conscience, barely say what I asked, but need to share with you just to see if I truly did flip my lid.

I asked him to stop....

Using the cheese board.

I know, I know....  What?  Why?

That's not your place....

It's his favorite implement right now.

We all know this, right?

It packs a good thud, leaves a sting, nice red bottom.  All good criteria for an excellent spanking.

But folks, it was not cutting it!

No, I have not lost my marbles even though I'm sure a few of you think so, especially when I tell you what else I said.

Drum roll, please.....

What do you mean you cannot read that tiny print?

Here....Try this....

Hmm...still not working for you?

I admitted to what I did and I'm done now.

Stop your fussing, I can hear you already.

Sorry, this whole baring my soul thing is making me cranky.

Oh, you want me to say it a bit louder, so you can see it?

Clearing my throat now....

Really, folks, you still are not getting it, are you?

I asked him to go back to BERTHA!'

Oops, sorry, I really did not mean to yell it!

Let me interrupt this blog post to welcome those who are just joining us here in blogland.  I asked my sweet man to go from using this:
To using this again!

Okay, back to our regular blog post.

So, I asked him this respectfully because the cheese, well, Bea as you all know her, just was not cutting it.

I know, here it comes, this chick has flipped, right?

Nope, actually I have not.

See the problem with Bea "the Cheese" is that she hurts in the moment.  But the sting does not really last.

Now, you all know what I'm talking about.  The little twinge you get when you sit down that reminds you that you've been spanked.  The after burn, I guess is what it is called.

Bertha does that for me.  And as much as I hate to admit it.  I have missed that feeling.  And so I asked Hoss to please spank me with Bertha.

There, I said it nicely and calmly.  And I'm pretty sure I'm not crazy or nuts, even though I'm sure a few of you questioned my sanity, hoped I had something gossip worthy to enjoy....

But I have a feeling, that I am not alone in where I "sit" right now.  Otherwise, you probably would not be on a spanking blog, would you?

Let me hear some, "Amens!"

Anyway, it's none of my business why you're here exactly, but glad to have you visiting.

So I wanted to end the blog post right there, but Hoss said, "Uh uh! No way!  That's a cliffhanger, you have to say what happened."

So I'm obliged, as Hoss was so obliged.

I know he looked a little dumbfounded at my statement, then that grin.  That wonderful ear to ear grin.

Butterflies tumbling all over themselves, as I handed Bertha to him.

Hoss took Bertha (a little too eagerly in my opinion) and said, "It's been a long time, old friend."

Geez, really?  Let me not interrupt your moment, Buddy.

(No, I did not say that out loud, I'm crazy, not stupid!  I just thought it, REALLY REALLY LOUD!)

Yes, that spanking happened.  Did it feel good in the moment?
Duh, folks, that spanking hurt.  Like really, really hurt.

And it was only maintenance.

But it worked.

Now, I know what you are wondering.

Come on....I know you want to ask....

I was wondering the exact same thing.

And, yes, you all, I felt like an old friend had come to visit too.

  1. Good gravy, Baker! Did you forget to take your meds?!!! you're still feelin' it aren't ya. Is your favorite color rosy red?

    Hugs and blessings...Cat

    1. Actually, a lovely mellow yellow suits me fine, Cat, but I think Hoss really enjoys a bright red! LOL!

Yes, yes, I know, I know, you think I fell off my rocker and banged my head, but I really do have to say, if you're going to get spanked you might as well make it worth your while!

  2. LoL Baker, this was fun to read. Good grief, they both look evil to me and would have thought both would produce a nice after glow. I do get it. Hoss's reaction and comment cracked me up lol.

    1. Sweet Roz, he cracked me up too, but not in the way you're thinking!

I was equally surprised which produced the best after burn too. Hoss and I talked about it several times now and for me, I learn so much better if the tushy has a lasting effect. And the cheese board is more a "hurts in the moment," but I could sit fairly easily afterwards, no twinge, no tingling, etc. With Bertha I get that, which is, at least for me, a motivator to get myself together.

  3. I am not fond of bath brushes. No way, no how. But I don't think you're crazy. After burn, that soft 'oww...' when you sit is my favorite. The only thing I've found that does that is the belt. I do understand.

    1. PK, I want to hug you right now! I knew someone could describe it better than me! Thank you for understanding! The "soft owww" is exactly the feeling I love and crave.

  4. Glad that your hubby embraced your suggestion.

    1. Yeah, Sunny, he's really sweet like that! Always seems happy to oblige on those sort of things.

  5. Baker I'm with Cat and stealing her saying Good Gravy, are you crazy. No I can understand and I must say any wood just doesn't cut it for me. The belt is my favourite for leaving a nice after sting. Talk Hoss into that instead. Maybe we should all vote on a good implement for you. My vote is a yummy leather belt.
    Hugs Lindy xx

    1. Miss Lindy, I'm beginning to think Hoss has decided wood is the only thing good for a spanking. Your encouragement for a nice belt will be duly noted and forwarded on to the man in charge. I appreciate it!

  6. Totally cracked up when Hoss called it an "old friend." I have to go with the majority on the feeling I get from a belt.

Before - when he pulls it out of his belt loops.
During - never want it to stop.
After - yep, that after burn to which you referred.

    From Ella's Heart

    1. Thank you, Miss Ella,
I appreciate your "from the heart" opinion. I am passing it onto Hoss along with Lindy's as well. Need to make sure he gets the idea that it's not just me who thinks wood is something that can be done away with, especially when there are obviously better options out there.

  7. would probably not be my choice of implement...but sometimes you have to ask for what you need. :-)

    1. Thanks, Terps! I appreciate your support as well.

  8. Maybe there's just something about that first implement used that makes for fond memories. I don't know but I can relate in a way. J use o use a heavy paddle for punishments but we switched to a wand more recently bc we needed a silent implement. They say the silent ones are suppose to be worse but that paddle was serious business! I was afraid of that thing and it kept me on my toes. Although I hated it and he often had to hold me down just to get me in position for it, I miss it at times. It really made things serious and real. Does that make sense?

    1. It does, Jlynne, it really does. I was eager for Hoss to move away from bertha and find something else, but when he did it was not the same. I guess I'm a creature of habit.

  9. Ha ha ha... I am rolling. LOVED the upside down chick. You are hysterical. As for your request, good for you! I have often talked to Eric about the fact that I truly hate the spanking itself. I loved being in his hands and over his lap. I love his words and the domination he portrays. But the actual pain of the spanking? Hate it. But the actual glow, heat, pain of the aftermath. I live for that and the longer it lasts, the better. :)

    1. Amy,
You hit the proverbial nail on the head. I hate the during too, mostly unless its a good girl, but the afterburn is something that I do enjoy. I know its weird, but some days I still think this whole spanking/dd is weird anyway, so I guess it is what it is. I'm a contradiction in more ways than this, so what is one more?

  10. Hi Baker,:) For sure, those times that are not fun at all, in a spanking moment, are often the ones that help us move forward. If it takes your "Bertha" to do that for you, then it's good that you told Hoss. It's always good to "tell him what you need".

Your cheeseboard is a cheeseboard. Ours is a paddle, fondly referred to as "the cheeseboard". It can make a statement for sure! There will be no real cheeseboards or berthas at our place! We all have different tastes. Please pass the Brie! Many hugs,

    <3 Katie

    1. That we do, Katie, different strokes for different folks they say. Yes, there are certain things that leave a certain feeling that works. I love that each couple is unique in that way. Glad you stopped in to visit.

  11. I actually totally understand. I've asked for a different implement before too ... and not necessarily one less ouchy, but ouchy in a different way. Sometimes the implement he chooses just doesn't have the effect that I need at the time. So, looks like we can be crazy together, my friend! lol

    1. So thankful I'm in such good company, Lilli! Sometimes we need to respectfully ask for what works and will help get through to us.
